Does the stupidity of the city council know no bounds?

  Sometimes, Stoke-on-Trent city council does things that have no earthly sense to them at all, clearly because those people charged with making such decisions have no bloody sense, and the decision to start work on a new bus station that looks like a UFO, after cutting over £300,000 of subsidies to the public transport companies that will result in the loss of 44 bus routes, has to be the stupidest decision of all!

Like a set from Startrek, Stoke's own flying saucer!

  What the hell is the point of a new bus station if there are no bus routes for the passengers to travel?

                                    A barren wasteland of few passengers and even fewer buses.
                                                 The genius of Stoke-on-Trent city council.

    This is the level of unintelligent decision making in the city council at the present time, at it is just another example of cuts being made not because they are necessary, but because the inconvenience caused is making a political point!

  And this isn't the only ridiculous decisions we've seen come out of the Civic Centre, remember the library services for the blind being cut to save £13,500? 
  But then the city council waste £36,000 of the taxpayers money on Common Purpose!- Common Purpose are political freemasons.

   After trying unsuccessfully to close Dimensions, the city council go after another two swimming pools, closing Shelton and Tunstall under the lie that maintainence and repair costs are too much!

Bollocks!

Maintainence clearly isn't an issue because there has been none, and when it comes to repairs, the city council always bump up the costs when they want to get rid of something, but I'll bet none of you have seen a council breakdown of the repairs needed?
 No, didn't think so.

  And our illustrious council leader, Pervez, has come out and said that they have saved over £1 million by cutting some management positions.

£1 million?!

 The £50,000 and above pay bracket in the council now costs the people of this city £18.9 million!
 This should be at least halved, and the cuts should start with the department heads of those departments who need the aid of outside consultants! What kind of a mental setup allows managers to stay in highly paid jobs, when they can't do those bloody jobs?!

 There needs to be a complete rebuilding of the city councils salary structure in order to get rid of these greedy, moneygrabbing tossers, and fill the positions instead from the large amount of excellent council employees that always get overlooked, or tarred with the same brush that the overpaid underachievers that make up the senior management are always getting painted with.

  Good things can happen if you, the electorate, use your vote wisely and don't just vote the same old faces back in. If you're tired of your amenities and services going, cast a different vote and get a different future, the choice is yours!

If you're looking for a fight, you're knocking on the right door!

 I don't post on his crappy site, I don't visit his crappy site, but for some unfathomable reason, the brown nose commie propagandist, Tony "the" Walley, from the twits'n'twats marxist website, seems intent on picking a fight with me by claiming the financial information we publish is somehow not true, as he struggles in vain to try and convince the people of this city that the cuts made by this corrupt, poxy council were necessary and unavoidable.

 BOLLOCKS!

  The cuts made by this city council were spiteful, deliberately provokative, and politically motivated, and the real state of the councils finances prove that the money is there to save services like the mobile libraries, and amenities like the swimming pools, this is the communist Labour party playing silly buggers, and that's all.

  And to prove that what we say is correct, I'll publish the facts and figures on here, then I'll post it to every bloody councillor and council employee I have contact details for.

  Our tale starts on the 7th October, 2008, when the Icelandic national bank, Landsbanki, collapsed.
At the time, Stoke-on-Trent city council had £5 million invested in Landsbanki, even though warnings had been given to them about the instability in this institution, the city council ignored them, and lost £5 million.
It was at this point in time that the fact the city council had £92,784,000 in cash investments, became public knowledge.

    On the discovery that the city council were in possession of such holdings, Sam Tunstall, Terry Cope, and myself decided to do some digging and see what else this city council had been hiding from the people, and what we found gave us a great deal of concern.

    Firstly, when questioned about this money, the city council iffed and ahhed, gave us the council runaround, and generally refused to answer any questions whatsoever about it.
  So we moved on to Freedom of Information, and instead of sending these requests to just the city council, we sent the same requests to the District Auditor, Grant Patterson. It was Mr Patterson who provided us with the first answers to what we were enquiring about.


  The £93 million was to be withdrawn from investment in foreign institutions,( that sounds bloody racist to me!) and instead invested with the newly COMMUNIST LABOUR created Debt Management Office.

  Here it was claimed, our money would be safe, though the interest rate was so small, it wasn't worth bothering with, at least not for the councils, it would be interesting to know just how much interest was creamed off these investments by that poxy government though!

  Of the £93 million, £13 was 'on call'- short term investment, sometimes just overnight- that left £80 million that no-one apart from a handful of council officers and a couple of councillors, knew about.

  Chasing this down has proved an impossible task so far, but we have made headway. Paul Simpson, head of finance and the S151 officer of the council, told one councillor that £43 million had used to, " pay some bills", though what those bills were, was unclear.

  So we requested info on what had been done with the £43 million, what bills had been paid?
I got the answer in an e-mail from the city council which stated that they didn't know where the money had come from, they didn't know what it had been spent on, but that whatever it had been spent on was untraceable!!
 We considered this totally unacceptable. £43 million of public money and we're told it's untraceable. So I contacted the finance department and spoke to Robert Thorley, who told me that the money had been put into the councils current account and had been used to pay bills through it, this was why it was untraceable.
I said that was rubbish, and that £43 million of public money couldn't simply vanish. If he wasn't prepared to answer the questions, I asked him for a copy of the account statement so I could trace the money myself.
He told me I was being unreasonable(?)- clearly it is not my business what the council spends millions of your tax pounds on!- and that was that. As soon as I returned to Freedom of Information, I was given the runaround again.

  But this left £37 million unaccounted for, so where has this money gone?

  On the 9th February, 2009, the city council made it's first investment with the DMO, a sum of £10 million being paid into the account. After this, Paul Simpson first extended the limits as to how much couyld be invested in the DMO, then finally abolished limits altogether, so all the council money went through these all but non-interest paying accounts.

  As of today, we have a few more facts about the liars at the council and just how much money there is floating about. Freedom ofinformation requests from us to the DMO provided us with some interesting facts, not least of which was the investment by the city council of £708, 511,000 between December 09, and December 2010. I am awaiting the answers to a FoI request concerning this money, answers that are due at the start of March.

  The DMO also told us that Stoke-on-Trent city council had cash in the account- and not the on call accounts- of £25,262,000, a sum that seems to have risen to £41,857,000, with no explanation as to how this has happened. This is not to be confused with the £49,288,000 that the council have in the on call accounts, a total of which is £91,145,000.

   These are the councils figures, given to Sam Tunstall through the Freedom of Information, so Walley and Ibbs and all the others that deny the council has money, are clearly lying. And there has still been no explanation as to where the £43 million was spent, or where the remaining £37 million went to!

  Now before you people out there in voterland get carried away with the propaganda of Walley and his communists, bear one thought in mind, his site, his partner, are funded/paid by a man named William Perrin, a Harry Hill lookalike that worked for the COMMUNIST LABOUR GOVERNMENT in the home office!
 Funded by the commies, Walley spends his days pumping out propaganda in the vain hope that the people of this city will re-elect his far left moronic mates.

    As a finale to this round, Civic Centre contacts tell us that Walley is forever to be found in the office of one Mohammed Pervez, doubtless kissing his arse in exchange for the few crumbs of information that fall from our mighty leaders table.
  By the way "the", I did say I was considering running in Goldenhill/Sandyford, because the people there were bothered enough to get off their backsides and make an effort, I like that, I consider it a vital component in getting the scum out of the Civic Centre so we can turn this city round. You can make all the veiled threats you like, but you overstep the mark with your comments, be assured that I will overstep the mark as well!
This city has seen enough of this communist Labour cheating to last it a lifetime, don't think for one second I'll put up with more of it from the likes of  you!

If God was going to give the world an enema, he'd stick it in the Civic Centre!

  If you read the Sentinel article on the cuts this bunch of a*seholes are inflicting on this city, then read the comments made on that article, then speak to people on the street or in the workplace, what you'll find is that the ONLY people that think these cuts are good ideas, are from within the Civic Centre.

  The other thing to note about the comments on the Sentinel site, is that they are clearly written by the supporters of the communist Labour Party, these stupid, lying people trying to implant the idea that this current mess is the responsibility of the coalition government, but seeing as how they have been in power only a few short months, the trouble clearly lies with the previous marxist regime, and their mad, one eyed Scottish leader borrowing larger and larger amounts of money, driving this country deeper and deeper into debt that we can't afford, that's where the bloody problems come from!

 And now we have the Stoke communists trying to play the same game, blaming cuts on the coalition government instead of their own incompetence and pisspoor money management skills.
And look at the cuts.
The first thing these council wallahs come out with is, "we won't touch frontline services." when that's the first place they go looking! The place that won't get touched is the vast amounts they take in salary, the five year increase in thoise getting £50k or more jumping from 90 people, at a cost of £5.1 million, to the obscene 269 people who now strip the public purse of £18.9 million! This is where we should be looking for cuts, these thieving b****ds ripping you off for £millions, and you sit on your arses and don't do anything about it!

 If the city council ran the bin lorries and gritters on veggie oil, they would save enough not to have to close Tunstall swimming pool, and Fenton and Burslem libraries. If they ran all the vehicles on veggie oil, they could repair Shelton baths as well. We've told them this, we showed them the numbers and how to go about it, and they did nothing with it!
They have now decided to close that money pit Ceramica, which has been taking £150,000 a year in public funding to keep it open, yet when we suggested this should be closed and the money put to better use, you should have heard the far left crud from pitsnpots bellyache!

  There is a fact you need to come to terms with, and that is that the Labour Party are DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for the state this city is in, their decades of control having been spent watching this city die whilst they did bugger all about it, and now, as usual, they are trying to pass the buck onto someone else for what is clearly their bloody mess.

  This city doesn't need the cuts being made at this point, and frontline services should be exempt from the cuts, instead the savings should be found from amongst the lying, thieving incompetent scum that masquerade as council leaders, when in fact they don't give a toss for this city, just how much of its taxpayers money they can cramb into their bottomless pockets, and it's long past time that the voters of this city took this into account, and dumped these lying communists out of the Civic Centre for good.

When the City Councils chickens come home to roost.

   It had to happen.
The lies, theft, and mismanagement conducted over several decades by this repulsive Labour council, are finally about to hit home. Government demands for cuts and savings will be made so much worse by the fiscal irresponsibility of those who are supposed to be guardians of the citys cash and holdings.

   Amidst the cuts demanded from government, despite the fact that we are irrevokably slipping back into recession, it has been deemed a good time to refurbish parts of the Civic Centre!
Meredith spent £730,000 in 2007 refurbishing the top floor of the Civic Centre, so what more do these morons need?
It's as if there is no financial responsibility in that place at all, and now we have that chubby muslim Pervez and that surfer dude from Devon, Van der Hotshot, trying to tell us the cuts are the fault of the coalition!!
Thge cuts are the fault of Pervez, Van der Laarschott and Co, for having no common sense when it comes to public finances, for their personal overt greed in stuffing as much of the publics money in their pockets that they can, for their contractual incompetence and criminality, and their grossly irresponsible wastefulness in the way that they dispose of public money.

   As far as Stoke-on-Trent city council goes, these are the complaints that the nationalists of this city have pointed out time and time again to a voting public that don't seem to care that they are voting in the very people determined to destroy this city. People like Pervez and Van der Hotshit whine and moan about the culpability of the coalition government, yet the coalition are only trying to come to terms with the deliberately
caused chaos of the Labour party, the very party these same wasters belong to!

  The electorate of this city have to decide what they want this city to become, because left in the hands of the current councillors and officers, we will become nothing but a dumping ground for all the asylum seekers the West Midlands no longer has room for, for the extending of all the bme communities- andf that's happening now in the north of the city- where the native people of this area become more and more ignored.

   Come the May elections, England First Party, Stoke Division will be asking for your vote, and our aims will be simple; get this scum currently wrecking the city out of the Civic Centre, slash the obscene salaries of the greedy pig officers, and regain control of the councils budget by cutting those projects, programmes, and personnel not needed, not by getting rid of the front line staff!
